Hello, Championship Martial Arts families!
This August, as we prepare for the upcoming school year, our students will be focusing on a life-changing mindset—OPTIMISM!
Optimism means being confident, hopeful, and choosing to look on the bright side!It means we don’t waste energy worrying about things that haven’t happened, and when challenges arise, we look for the opportunities they present.
Our students will learn that an optimistic attitude builds resilience, boosts confidence, and gives them the mental strength to conquer difficult goals both on and off the mat!
💥 How Families Will Smash This Month’s Challenge:
🧠 The Weekly Mat Chat Homework: Each week, take 60 seconds with your child to review their sheet. Together, you’ll read and reflect on wisdom from leaders like Benjamin Franklin, Winston Churchill, Abraham Lincoln, and Paul Harvey!
🧹 The “Without Being Told” Home Chores Challenge: To earn their patch, students must complete three household jobs each week on their own initiative—without parents needing to ask!Whether it’s clearing their room, washing dishes, or feeding the family pet, we are building automatic responsibility at home.
📓 Parent Tip of the Month: Try keeping a family “Positivity Journal” at home! Have your child write down things they are grateful for, what they like about themselves, and what they appreciate about others.
🎖️ Earn the August Patch: Students who complete and turn in their weekly homework sheets on time every week will officially earn their limited-edition August Optimism Patch!
🗓️ Keep These Weekly Due Dates on the Fridge:
