It’s that exciting time again — Belt Promotion Week is right around the corner! 🥳
Students have been training hard, showing awesome focus, discipline, and confidence — now it’s time to celebrate their progress and promote to the next level! 💪🔥
📅 Promotion Dates:
🥷 Who: Karate Students in our Basic Program, Black Belt Club & Masters Club. Not Little Dragons (ages 4-6) or Adults
🗓 When: Monday, November 10 or Tuesday, November 11 during your regular scheduled class
📍 Where: At the CMA location where you attend classes
✅ Parent To-Do Checklist
Here’s what you need to do to help your child get ready for promotion week:
✔️ Sign up for you Final Black Stripe Test on Nov 3 or Nov 4. This is a 5 minute individual test. No regular classes on Nov 3 or 4.
✔️ Fill out your child’s Intent to Promote form
✔️ Complete the section that says “Parents, how is your child’s…” (we use your input to celebrate their growth both in class and at home!)
✔️ Make sure your child’s graduation tuition is submitted and membership is current
🗓 Deadline: Tuesday, November 4

⚫ Black Belt Club will be using Nunchucks (Chuck)
⚫ Masters Club will be using Kamas
If you need to order your weapons, make sure to mark them on your Intent to Promote form! 🥋✨
